Hey there!
My name is Billi and this is Major Link. This idea started out as a project through UPenn’s Social Innovators Program. I realized there are so many people who trek blindly throughout most of their school careers. Now, while I’m sure that builds a whole lot of character it also builds increasing amounts of stress and exhaustion. I want to give students whose schools and environments don’t already provide it, a network that works for them and toward their success. We all know that school can have its ups and downs but I believe with the proper support system the process can be more manageable.
Major Link is a program focused on helping students grades 12th-graduate school. I have made a couple of changes since I first launched Major Link, including adding a mentor consultation step. I want to take the time to get to know you and what you are looking for further so that your mentor selection can be as personalized as possible. We also host events that give more general information on the school or job processes, so if you aren’t interested in the personal experience there is something here for you too!
